The DoW’s central logistics data hub processes 15B+ transactions across 300K business partners annually, rivaling commerical payment networks in scale. It validates, routes, and secures every requisition, shipment, and payment record flowing through the supply chain.  As operational tempo increased, the system required modernization to enable real-time processing, enhanced visibility, and predictive capabilities that prevent disruptions before they impact readiness.

Solution

We’re rebuilding this data hub into an intelligent logistics platform. Unified, event-driven architecture processes billions of transactions in near real-time instead of overnight batches, while self-service dashboards provide live supply chain visibility. AI also detects transaction anomalies, predicts system failures, and optimizes routing before bottlenecks form. Generative AI enables logisticians to query complex data conversationally, accelerating analysis from hours to seconds.

Results

We transformed the data hub from reactive logistics to predictive operations. Transforming Federal eCommerce for the Digital Era

The digital backbone of federal procurement is an e-commerce system that connects more than 76,000 users and 1,800 suppliers across the DoW, processing millions of transactions annually. As technology advanced, modernization required a rebuild with cloud-native architecture and API-driven integrations to match the performance standards of modern commercial platforms.

Solution

We rebuilt the DoW’s primary e-commerce system as a cloud-native digital marketplace built for scale, speed, and security. Using MACH (microservices, API-first, cloud-native, headless), we developed an API-driven ecosystem that integrates seamlessly with procurement systems such as SAM.gov, DAAS, and Pay.gov. The system is AI-native – automating catalog validation, detecting supplier anomalies, and ensuring full compliance with federal acquisition regulations

Results

We transformed DoW e-commerce into a secure, API-first marketplace that uses AI and automation to process millions of defense procurements in real time, cutting costs, and eliminating fraud risk. The faster performance and seamless interoperability increased user satisfaction significantly – system throughput increased by > 80x and AI validation of 200K items/day eliminated manual review bottlenecks. We also fundamentally changed the way code and infrastructure was delivered – CI/CD pipelines reduced the build-test-release cycle from 4 hours to ~30 minutes, cloud costs reduced by $4 million, and storage costs reduced by 20%.

Modernizing Global Food Supply Chain Management

The military food supply operations system manages billions of dollars in food procurement across every service branch, serving 5,500+ ordering points and processing over one million sales lines monthly. The legacy system operated as disconnected subsystems, but its scale and global reach demanded a unified, data-driven platform to reduce waste, improve delivery speed, and ensure reliable meal support worldwide.

Solution

We transformed the military’s food supply operations into an integrated, data-driven platform built on ServiceNow that unifies and automates order validation, catalog updates, and vendor management workflows. AI identifies demand patterns to reduce over-ordering and waste. The platform connects DLA, DeCA, and USTRANSCOM systems to create realtime visibility across the entire supply chain, from vendor to dining facility.

Results

This platform now operates as an integrated, data-driven food logistics platform connecting suppliers, warehouses, and dining facilities across the defense network. With faster order processing, reduced waste, and improved cost accuracy, reliable distribution ensures consistent meal support to warfighters worldwide, from garrison bases to forward-deployed units, with speed, accuracy, and accountability.

Zero Trust from Enterprise to Warfighter

The DoW mandates Zero Trust compliance by 2027. The Air Force must defend everything from global cloud environments to aircraft data links and classified mission systems, but when adversaries breach one system, they move laterally across networks before detection.

Solution

We serve as the Air Force’s primary Zero Trust architect, extending Zero Trust principles beyond enterprise IT into mission systems – aircraft avionics, weapons platforms, sensors, and command networks. Working with the Cyber Resiliency Office for Weapon Systems (CROWS), we embed Zero Trust into weapon system design so that platforms are cyber-resilient from first flight. We implement micro-segmentation, continuous verification, and least-privilege access across all Air Force domains (NIPR, SIPR, JWICS), and operational systems.

Results

By FY27, the Air Force will operate under unified Zero Trust architecture that is projected to cut authorization timelines by 40% and reduce lateral network movement by up to 80%. The architecture protects both enterprise IT and the operational systems that run missions, ensuring cyber resilience from operations floor to orbit.

IL5/IL6 Cloud Infrastructure & AI Software Factory

Defense enterprise systems power core procurement, contracting, and logistics operations that move billions in goods and payments monthly across thousands of applications. We modernized the DoW’s logistics enterprise infrastructure, migrating hundreds of applications into a unified IL5/IL6 cloud architecture. The modernization achieved 100% migration success, zero unplanned downtime, and near-perfect availability for the systems that keep the defense supply chain moving. As part of this transformation, we also developed a secure API gateway that replaced decades of point-to-point integrations, enabling real-time data exchange across 1,000+ procurement and financial systems.

Compliance Automation: AI generates Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M) reports in minutes instead of half a day per system. The agent pulls data directly from security scans, batch-processes similar vulnerabilities, and outputs DoD EMAS-compliant files ready for upload, eliminating manual consolidation and standardizing compliance reporting.

Contract Intelligence: Natural language search across thousands of agreements replaces weeks of manual review across disparate systems. The agent also drafts renewal templates through conversational editing, turning static archives into a dynamic knowledge base.

Proactive Monitoring: AI detects transaction anomalies before systems fail. Instead of binary thresholds that only catch complete outages, the agent flags subtle drops in volume and alerts operators before problems cascade.

Compliance reporting that took half a day now takes minutes, contract analysis that required weeks of specialized labor happens instantly, and system failures get caught before they disrupt operations. Enterprise Contract & Audit Automation

Defense procurement operations need to track, reconcile, and manage millions of contracts, with thousands of new contracts being issued daily. Financial and contract transactions live across multiple systems, making it difficult to trace the full lifecycle of funds or interact with the data at scale.  When analysts needed to trace obligations, verify compliance, or understand contract terms, the distributed nature of this data creates bottlenecks that delay audits and limit transparency across billions in procurement spending..

Solution

Deployed with the DoW, our agentic AI makes 50M+ contracts searchable and operational at the enterprise scale.  AI agents combine semantic search powered by large language models with structured database queries, enabling instant search across multimodal contract documents within security boundaries. The agents also automate contract writing, structuring contract clauses based on FAR requirements and automating compliance workflows that previously demanded manual review.

Procurement Decision Intelligence

Defense acquisition leadership needs visibility into billions in procurement spending, but the data lives fragmented across specialized acquisition systems, program office spreadsheets, data warehouses, and email attachments. This distribution reflects how acquisition work actually happens, but it prevents enterprise-wide analysis of spending patterns, program performance trends, or emerging financial risks that require cross-cutting insight.

Solution

We built production-grade data pipelines that extract procurement and financial data from disparate sources, re-engineer it into governed semantic models, and deliver predictive analytics through automated dashboards. We turn generic DoW data lakes into operationally usable decision support, deployed through CI/CD pipelines within an IL5-approved environment.
